Welcome to Little Friends Big Heroes Childcare, a licensed family childcare program in Frederick, Maryland, providing a warm, nurturing, and bilingual English & Spanish learning environment for children from infancy through age 5. Through play-based learning, hands-on experiences, and individualized care, we help little learners build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Get to Know Ms. Kim
Hi, I’m Ms. Kim, owner and provider of Little Friends Big Heroes Childcare. My journey in early childhood education began more than 10 years ago, and in 2021 I opened my own licensed family childcare program with one goal: to create the kind of place where children feel safe, loved, understood, and excited to learn.
As a bilingual English & Spanish educator and a mom, I believe every child deserves individualized care, meaningful learning experiences, and the freedom to grow at their own pace. Building trusting relationships with families is just as important to me as supporting the children in my care.
